Thomas Harris and family went to Baldwin Co., GA around 1804 where he died in 1816. Orphan court records of Baldwin Co. name his children listed below. After his death his wife Sarah married James Powell and went on to Talbot Co., GA along with several of her children and their families.

Thomas Jefferson Harris, b Sept 15, 1812 Baldwin Co., GA; m. Lydia Burks Jan 15, 1835 Talbot Co., GA then married Elizabeth Burks c 1862. He first went to Scott Co. MS where his mother, Sarah Powell, was living with him in 1850. Thomas went on to Comanche Co., TX where he died Aug 26, 1894.
